As part of the SAP Support Portal redesign efforts, we are looking for some individuals to help us pilot a new SAP notes search.
You will find some information on the overall vision and goals for this pilot below.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The purpose of the pilot is to get initial feedback from customers working with SAP HANA and HTML5 UI in the context of Notes Search. There is a subset of SAP Notes in this initial pilot, meaning you may not see all SAP Notes that you would normally expect to see in the current application.
Vision:
•Provide a new working model for SAP Notes by integrating HANA and HTML5 into SAP Notes based applications to leverage the performance benefits of in-Memory technology and state of the art HTML5 based User Interfaces
Goals:
•Full replacement of SAP Notes Search in the SAP Support Portal (long term goal)
•Provision of new and innovative applications enabled by new technologies
•Early customer feedback with respect to HANA and HTML 5 for new ways of user interaction
•Possible Integration with SAP Solution Manager
•Possible Integration with mobile solutions
In order to participate in the pilot, you need to have an S-user ID and be able to access the SAP Support Portal. If you meet these requirements, and are interested in participating, please send an email to sapsupportcx@sap.com with your S-user ID. Make sure to place SAP NOTES SEARCH PILOT in the subject line. The registration deadline is Friday, February 15th, with first round of testing to be completed by Friday, February 22nd. If you cannot participate at this time, but are interested in the next round of testing, let us know and we will make sure to include you in future correspondence.
