ASUG Meetings

We attended three ASUG chapter meetings in the month of May: Florida, Ohio, and Alabama.

Once again, we received a great reception from customers on the new SAP Support Portal (http://support.sap.com), and had the opportunity to speak with many customers about their support experiences.  We even got a selfie/groupie photo!

So many happy looking faces for first thing in the morning!

June 2014

SAPPHIRE NOW/ASUG Annual Conference

I spent a great deal of time between the SAP ONE Support center and the ASUG Hub this year.  It was great to see so many people interested and participating in the support sessions.  Conversations around the ONE support model, Enterprise Support, and SAP Support Portal were in full force.  One of the members of our Service and Support Infrastructure team, Arno Helmling, held 1:1 and 1:many demos of the Launchpad concept for the SAP Support Portal.  It's focused on the Know ME, Guide ME, Show ME approach, and customers were extremely interested in seeing a glimpse into a personalized future.

Our Service & Support Infrastructure liaison discussing the launchpad concept for the SAP Support Portal with an ASUG member

My colleague Chris Vozella and I enjoyed collaborating with ASUG in an open forum discussion around support and education.  Chris and I are ASUG Points of Contact, and as such, found ourselves in the ASUG Hub quite a bit.  You could even say we were there the whole time.  Yes, that is us hamming it up!

We're always in!

Videos

Thanks to matthew.shaw for creating this video!  Watch this video to see a preview of an innovative idea in pilot phase with SAP Business Intelligence products called 'Troubleshooting by Scenario'

Here's another great video from our Netweaver SAP Support team!  The following video shows the step-by-step procedure for collecting relevant trace messages related to a UWL problem in the portal.
