Speakers: Toby Johnston, Tim Coffman, and Sathish Rajagopal

Abstract: The SAP BI Platform Support tool is a new community-driven utility designed to streamline the supportability of BI platform 4.x. The tool allows BI administrators, partners, and product support to easily scan the BI topology and quickly understand how the system is configured and being utilized. Pre-defined thresholds are evaluated by the tool’s analyzer engine and if problems are detected, the BI administrator is alerted before there is a system outage. Schedule the landscape report weekly as a program object to keep a record of how the BI landscape is configured. Using the change analysis feature, compare previously scheduled landscape reports to understand what settings and content changes have occurred over time. Finally, learn how the new E2E Trace Wizard/Passport Decoder features greatly simplify the troubleshooting and performance tuning process allowing you to keep your BI system running like a well-oiled machine.
