Need an expert guidance on conversion rule concept in APO and ECC.
We are using planning strategy 20 in APO (Planning with final assembly), since planning strategy 30 (planning without final assembly) having so many limitation and which was not solving our requirement.
We are using CTM planning Engine to generate supply element (SNP planned order) against forecast demand using strategy 20 in APO and 40 in ECC. Our requirement is, system has to allow planned order to process order conversion only when sale order against or else it should not allow to convert. For which we are using conversion rule in APO (activated requirement check), which gave warning message but in ECC side there is no control on this conversion (without sale order in ECC side planned order converted to Process order).
Can someone guide me how to control this conversion in ECC side (it should convert only when sale order exist if no sale order exist at that period it should not allow to convert till sale order exist).
And also in APO through this conversion rule it will only give warning message, when we select ok option it will allow the conversion. For this case can we set up an error message which will perform the activity till sale order exist?
