As mentioned in the previous post http://scn.sap.com/community/test-data-migration-server/blog/2012/12/27/sap-tdms-hcm-40 the next step is:
CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
The significant elements in a TDMS appliaton are:
Landscape: This is the scenario where you define the systems involved in the implementation
Template: The template which defines the list of transfer applications that are predefined in the overall application repository. For each template HCM have only one application.
Project: is the execution of one template, the affected systems by the Data Migration Project are defined in it assigning to a Landscape.
Package: is the instance in a project that includes activities and defines the status of the project. The Package includes all entries in the tables parameterized to migrate.
When you create a new instance of migration (Package) Process Monitor for this Package is displayed. It appears the list of activities to be implemented in this project and the status information of each activity and access to logs of execution of such activities.
For most activities, there is an executable function. Depending on the nature of the way to perform this function will execute a program or sequence of programs in background or call a selection screen in which you must perform different inputs. It is important that these steps are executed in the predefined order. As an implementation guide (IMG) the migration process has different phases. Not able to run a function in a phase if the phases are not completed predecessors.
CONFIGURATION SETTINGS. SCENARIOS
In the project creation screen you can assign a long description that identifies the content more easily and purpose of the project.
Next we must create the templates
In transaction TDMS we can see them
Then we´ll create the lanscape
In transaction TDMS we can see them
All the structures are created.
