Some employees equate learning at their job with going to the dentist – it’s a necessary evil and it’s best to just get it done, especially if they want to advance in their career.

But that’s all changing these days as corporate learning programs evolve and become easier, more convenient, and more interesting.

As companies develop evolved learning strategies, they are adding critical emotional elements that motivate their teams to want to learn more. This includes massive open online courses (MOOCs) and semisynchronous training that making learning programs more accessible.

In addition, corporations are making key technology-enabled changes in learning that are having major impacts. But they aren’t stopping there. Other techniques they are using include:

  • Calibrated incentives that are paired with training courses to bring back a desire to learn
  • Big Data to help companies focus in on content that is high quality and meaningful
  • Social learning to add more motivation and convenience

The result? The desire to learn willfully is back in corporations that understand and embrace these important key factors.

To learn more about corporate learning and the role of incentives, evaluations, and social interactions, join SAP for an informative live Webinar on September 16 at 1 p.m. EST, September 16 at 2 p.m. CET, or September 17 at 1 p.m. SGT.
