How do your testing tools measure up?

I'd like to share a new Infographic from SAP on using assessments:

(click on the graphic to enlarge)

(or click here to download a full version)

One thing that particularly interests me on the Infographic is the statistics on how employers see the value of certification. This data is from a 2013 US survey of manufacturing companies and identifies that:

92% of employers believe that certification decreases on-the-job training and cost.

90% of employers believe certifications make a difference in validating workforce knowledge and skills.

90% of employers believe certification improves company performance.

There is lots of evidence that effective assessments improve business performance. For some other examples of this, see this SCN post Online assessments in compliance #1: Making a business case for “testing out” of training.

It's very interesting to see that 90% of manufacturing companies in this survey see assessments as improving business performance.

Infographics are a great way of communicating concepts mixing visuals and language,

I hope you find this SAP Infographic on SAP Assessment Management meaningful and useful and that it helps you think whether your testing tools measure up.
