Phrases like “internet of things” and “industry 4.0” are everywhere. But what does that mean when machines communicate together? How can you build up a simple prototype fur such a complex scenario?
In our new 2 days hands-on workshop “HAIOT1 - Internet of Things with SAP HANA and Raspberry PI Workshop” you will learn to build up a realistic prototype to make the scenario easy to understand for your colleagues, customers or business partners.
The prototype uses a temperature sensor that transmits its data over the internet to a SAP HANA system and visualizes the data using the SAP BusinessObjects reporting clients.
You will learn the complete way of implementation starting with a standard “Raspberry Pi Model B” that you will assemble, install, extend with the sensor and connect to the internet.
In the SAP HANA system you will model and build your data structures to store the data transmitted by the sensor. You will use SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio to analyze and visualize the data. In addition you will add an Event Stream Processor (ESP) to stream your data to the frontend and create alerts when the data gets critical.
At the end of the workshop you can keep your Raspberry Pi with the sensor and bring it back home to enrich you scenario with your own ideas.
The workshop will be held in our International Training Center in Walldorf (Germany) in German and English language.
