From 27 January to 2 February http://www.campus-party.com.br/2014/index.html SAP and SAP University Alliances sponsored one of the world’s leading and most successful student events of its’ type – the global Campus Party. Campus Parties take place every year in a different location and have grown in recent
years to reach over 8,000 students per event, with many more attending virtually or by being including on the Tweats and Social Media updates of their
friends.
Campus Parties bring together thousands of students to watch speeches from leading figures in business, music, literature, politics, science and to both get a vision of and influence the thinking of these leading figures. There are also opportunities to gain access to new technologies and gadgets and to participate in workshops such as the 2014 workshops on robotics and modding, multimedia and games, and software development.
44 universities were directly involved with the 2014 event including universities with whom the SAP University Alliances program has a direct relationship through the SAP labs in Sao Leopoldo Brazil. SAP itself had a booth at the event and was visited by 400+ students and faculty, a figure so high that our colleagues are still working through the various contact details – always a sign of success!
