A Train-the-Lecturer (T-t-L) on-boarding course, for using the SAP UA curriculum in university academic programmes, is planned for the week 28 July to 1 August in Johannesburg, South Africa. The course will be presented by Stefan Weidner from the SAP University Competence Centre (UCC) at the Otto von Guericke University,

Magdeburg.

The course will take place in South-Africa (Johannesburg/Pretoria region). Topics to be covered will include the contractual framework, how to get a hosted SAP connection through to the UCC, how to set up a teaching environment, how to use the SAP curriculum, using the Global Bike Incorporated (GBI) data set on SAP Business Suite.

The main programme is expected to be 4 days, with day 5 reserved to deal with more advanced topics as well as the ESEFA curriculum under development (an adaptation and enhancement of the GBI curriculum especially tailored for the African contexts). Registration will be open to UA Member and non-members alike, but because space is limited, preference will be given to existing SAP UA members who have not had the opportunity to attend such an orientation course.
