My Nominator:

I was nominated to #BIF by Sue Keohan && this is her #BIF http://scn.sap.com/people/susan.keohan/blog/2012/08/21/blog-it-forward--sue-keohan

My Introduction:

My name is Megan Laughlin and I'm a senior at Grand Valley State University. I attended Washtenaw Community College for two years and then transferred sixty credits to GVSU. While taking my MGT 268 (Management Information Systems) course where I decided to further my academic career within SAP. Since making this decision I have never looked back and I'm proud to say I have found my niche. August of 2014 I pushed myself to my limits by participating in SAP TERP10 Certification and passed. I recently went to SAP TechEd && d-code in Las Vegas 2014 where my perspective completely changed. Since returning home all I can think of is staying connected with my networking contacts as well as learning about various programs and I feel I'm ready to tackle coding.

GVSU. ERP Program. For any information about our program contact simha.magal

Interesting Fact about Me:

I am a part of GVSU Synchronized Figure Skating Team. Unfortunately I cannot skate this year due to an injury this summer. Since I was a little girl I loved to roller blade and ice skate. It is my passion and has always come very easy to me.

During high school I made the varsity softball team my freshman year as a pitcher and I played volleyball up until my junior year where I decided to focus on pitching. While in high school I was a part of BPA (Business Professionals of America) as well as Student Government.

#BIF Questions:

1) Which 5 things do you absolutely want to achieve in life?

-I want to be a successful business women

-I want to get married and start a family (eventually)

-I would like to make enough money to retire my parents comfortably

-I would also like to make an impact on the world (I'm a volunteer at heart and always try to help people) && if I end up making good money I plan on
donating a certain amount a year to The American Cancer Society.

-I want to find/fund a surgery to help my brother get movement in his right shoulder. (It breaks my heart to see him struggle every single day)

2) What is the best lesson your parents taught you?

The best lesson my parents ever taught me was to follow my dreams and never give up no matter the obstacle. I owe my parents everything they have      pushed me to where I am today and have supported me each and everyday along my journey. They are my rocks and I don't know where I would be without      them. I am outgoing because of my mother and I got my brains from my father as well as my stubbornness.

3) If you could be a super hero (or are in your spare time) who would you be?

If I could be a super hero I would be superman because he is always there to help citizens in need no matter what he is doing.

Thank you Sue Keohan for enlightening me about #BIF !!!! I will nominate other SAP University Alliances Students once they get their pages up and running!
