On June 10, 2015, the Congress Casino in the former emperor’s spa town of Baden, was the venue for the 20th SAP Human Resources Forum Austria.

“Simple Wins” was the slogan of this year’s forum. 170 attendees joined more than 18 session, 3 keynotes, one round table and were exploring a partner exhibition area, all following the event’s motto. It was a perfect opportunity for SAP’s clients to get the latest the information on HR related processes. During the day the event was divided into 3 Breakout-Topics – Talent Management, HR core processes and Workshops for HR-IT.

Four selected students and one professor from the SAP University Alliances community had the chance to attend the forum to learn more about SAP’s the latest HR solutions and extended their business network. Furthermore the SAP University Alliances team was present with a booth in the exhibition area to inform interested customers and partners about collaboration opportunities, projects and events.

The day kicked-off with a keynote of Thomas Gerstner, Head of LoB HR in MEE, and Ali Mahlodji, CEO of the successful start-up whatchado. The two keynotes focused on the topic of “Simple Wins”. After the keynotes the attendees joined the different Breakout-Topics.

The team of Academy Cube actively participated at the event. As a very successful start-up using Success
Factors for Talent Management they were giving a presentation on “Fit for Industry 4.0"

Both Academy Cube and SAP University Alliances were present with a topic tables to inform customers about their program and ways to find new talents, as well as possible collaborations. The Students and the professor took their chance to learn more about the latest SAP HR solutions and their adoption within the customer base. They also had a great time networking within the SAP Ecosystem. 

The conference part of the event was closed by an outlook into SAP’s future in HR solutions and a wrap up of the day by a user group roundtable.

In the evening all attendees were invited to a gala dinner in the casino with nice music and good food and the possibility to continue their discussions on the summer terrace.
