On June 16th the Marketing and Communications and the University Alliances teams hosted the first Students at SAP event. The monthly event brings students from different universities in the region for a visit to get to know SAP Labs, its mission, market positioning, lines of business, products and initiatives, as well as the Labs’ facilities.

Check out below some highlights of the event:

  • Over 75 participants from different courses such as Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Manager in Logistics & Master in Agribusiness.
  • The 3-hour agenda included a tour around the Labs and 4 different key talks on Careers at SAP, University Alliances, the Startup Focus program and an Institutional presentation.
  • The visit also featured a social media contest via an Instagram, awarding the student who took the most creative picture of the Labs.

Recognition:

"I found the visit very fun, I was thinking of giving up on the IT area and the visit gave me a boost to continue. :)" Student surveyed

"I found it the sustainable concept and the work with universities very nice initiatives. I think it's always important to increasingly approach the academic community :)"Student surveyed

Students at SAP event is certainly a chance to reinforce our commitment to the universities of the region while showcasing our many student-related programs.

The event was also an incredible opportunity to not only make the SAP brand known among university students, but also provide a positive image of SAP as an employer of choice by making them interact and experience the brand up-close.

We would like to thank all of those who took an active part as speakers during the event: Augusto Loureiro, Carlos Pacheco, Renan Correa, Lucca Ronchetti, Emerson Rosa and Jucieli Baschirotto.

Best regards,
