It was our pleasure to have hosted the 20 students and 3 professors from University of Applied Sciences in Hof, Germany who had come all the way to our campus on 11 December 2015. This young set of students are studying business management and were from varied educational background and interest. Our focus was to line up a nice story around the latest of technologies that SAP is into and how we are aligning our Early Talent strategies to fulfill our talent requirements. Here is a quick glimpse at the agenda.

  • SAP Corporate Profile, Chiranjeev Brahma, SAP University Alliances
  • The Age of the Digital Enterprise delivered by Viswanadh Akella, Innovation Program Lead, SAP Labs
  • The Future of Work delivered by Dinu Nanjappa, Lead for Talent Acquisition for APJ, SAP Labs

We focused on the latest of technologies such as Internet of Things, Cloud, Mobility, SAP S4/HANA and explained to the students the Digital Business Framework. With SAP S4/HANA at the core an organization can start a successful journey towards their digital transformation. Viswa gave great insights into the reality that is looking directly at the faces of most IT organizations, however small or big. Their need of the hour is to be data driven and to ensure they pursue simplicity. He spoke about the latest trends in the world such as hyper connectivity, Super computing, Cloud Computing, Security and Smarter world and beautifully connected it to how SAP with its SAP S4/ HANA is "The Partner" for many customers to rely on to begin their digital transformation.

Dino from Talent Acquisition, then took over to speak on how in the APJ region our Talent Acquisition team keeps a close sync with the businesses and helps fulfill our talent requirement. He covered many great practices that go a long way to gain as well as retain employees. She shared insights into how the strategies are customized for different colleges in India as well as the rest of south east Asia.

Both the speakers had some great messages for the students such as "Challenge the Status Quo', "Break the rules"!

Below are some glimpses from the sessions.
