With the great support from Kai Mi, we successfully organized the office visit for 40 students and 1 professor from Aarhus University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on 22nd April 2014 in Shanghai Lab.

Background: Per the request from the office of Jim Snabe, the strategy master students met with Jim in the university and start to plan the study trip to China, they hope this visit could help them understand how a multinational company manage its business in China, and their expectations and strategy in China. The students are majored in "business and economics" with a specialization in "strategy, organization and leadership". For the other group from Rose-Hulman, they are undergraduate students majored in “Computer Science”, the top ranked engineering college in Terre Haute, Indiana.

We arranged the visit and providing with some interesting topics regarding the strategy planning and operation aspects.

  • Introduction of Labs China and Strategic Planning in China      Kai Mi, BD Director
  • Lunch @ SAP Canteen                                                             Josie Guan, UA Program Manager
  • Campus Visit and Introduction of UA Program                         Josie Guan, UA Program Manager
  • Co-Innovation with Fudan University                                        Kai Mi, BD Director

And Kai also introduced our co-innovation with Fudan University (Top 3 in China) and the CSR program: Sunshine Library which SAP Labs China donates and involved to help develop online learning software for rural area students, to help fill in the education gap between city and rural areas. The visiting students from Denmark and US felt very interesting and surprised with our model, SAP spends so much efforts on the social responsibilities and with academy.
