On September 12, 2014 UA was part of TU Dortmund’s Summer School. The Summer School is a one week workshop that gives first impressions on special topics regarding Entrepreneurship. Among others, the students have the chance to participate in a simulation game which allows them to apply their theoretical knowledge to practical problems.
The last day of this year’s Summer School was dedicated to the question “How can companies help students to build up a startup?” To answer this question, SAP University Alliances presented its portfolio with focus on the Student Entrepreneurship Program and the Startup Focus Program. The students were very interested in openSAP courses and how to develop on HANA. Furthermore, they wanted to know much about our Startup Focus Program and about our partner innoWerft. All in all, students as well as alumni were highly interested, asked a lot of questions and gave us great feedback. We very much enjoyed to be invited to this event and to have the chance to meet the students.
