On 13th October, 43 students and 2 teachers from St.Xavier's college, Mumbai visited SAP Labs India, Bangalore. The second and third year undergraduate students of the IT department were visibly excited for what awaited them. And living up to the excitement, the Scholars' program team and the Lumira team delivered sessions that certainly piqued the students' interest about SAP in particular and technology in general.
The afternoon started with Sudha from the Scholars' program team narrating the SAP Corporate Story to the students. The story mainly dealt with the 5 focus technologies - Cloud, Mobility, Database, Applications and Analytics. This was followed by a presentation of the Scholars' program at SAP Labs India by Zoya and testimonial talks by Sai and Kannan who are participants of the program. These sessions certainly aroused curiosity as the students engaged in a lengthy discussion with the Scholars' team trying to learn as much about the program as possible.

In the last session, experts from the SAP Lumira team talked about the SAP Lumira Challenge which was kicked off on 20 June 2014 and provided a demo of Lumira which fascinated the students. We are delighted with the enthusiasm shown by the students and hope that they had an edifying experience.
