Come January, SAP University Alliances India Team is participating in many University events and festivals in India where large number of students gather to exchange knowledge and cultural learnings. BITs Pilani Goa Campus is hosting their annual National Level college festival called Quark 2015 from 6th to 8 Feb 2015. This is the 3rd year in a row where SAP University Alliances would participate in their fest and use this wonderful opportunity to interact with students and spread the knowledge on topics such as SAP HANA Cloud Platform, Cloud computing, mobility etc.

SAP UA will be setting a UA booth which will serve as an information center to reach out to students and conduct on the Spot quizzes and address students through the speaker sessions at the festival.

About Quark

  • BITS Pilani, one of the top Indian universities in the fields of science and technology, has created a niche for itself through its highly qualified faculty, talented students and distinguished alumni. Quark has grown manifold since its inception in 2006 and has made a name for itself as an avant-garde technical festival, showcasing the latest innovations and hosting pioneers in the fields of science and technology. Through its plethora of competitions, lectures, exhibitions and workshops, Quark strives to ignite the minds of the thousands of students visiting the festival and celebrate a mutual passion
  • Over the years, Quark has been privileged by the presence of some of the most distinguished scientists, entrepreneurs and world leaders. Notable personalities include the Former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Nobel Laureates like Sir Harold Kroto and Prof Douglas Osheroff, eminent scientists such as Dr. Chris Phillips and Dr. Vic Hayes, and many more.  In 2013, Quark was awarded UNESCO Patronage, the highest form of support granted to an organisation.
  • Alter the Obvious, the theme for Quark 2015 symbolises our objective of urging people to question the very foundations of what is considered as "obvious" in today's world. The likes of Copernicus, Newton, Darwin challenged the notions of their time, now it's our turn. For we believe that it is in this curiosity and scepticism that the birthplace of innovation lies.

SAP University Alliances would be present at the event to engage will the participants via lectures, booth interagtions and would talk to the students about the SAP University Alliances App Rumble 2015.

The competition challenges the students to make enterprise application to solve business problems using the HANA Cloud Platform and we hope we get lots and lots of participation from BITs Pilani.

Stay Tuned for updates.
