Looking forward to hosting some 60 students from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. I recently made a 5 day visit to this beautify city Coimbatore and on the very first day of the trip visited this college. It is located from 30 km away from the main city and the location is picturesque. Met up with the management to make them aware of the good work that SAP does and briefed them on SAP University Alliances program.
The sessions that we have planned for the students on 13 August will cover our corporate profile along with emphasis on topics such as
1. Big Data
2. Internet of Things
We hope that we are able to tell the students about the impact of work that we do in these fields and how it is essential for them to understand these fields. After all the technology world is changing so fast that mere knowledge of HTML or JAVA or web technologies is not enough. For instance it is not only important to know the definition of Big Data but it is even more important to have a big data mind set!
