SAP UA together with SAP Vocational Training organized two open day events for Nanjing University and Southeast University respectively in SAP Nanjing Innovation Center on 19th Nov. 2015
There were 50 students from Southeast University and 42 students from Nanjing University attended. All of them are sophomore students. The agenda covered SAP background and technology trends, Learning resources and opportunities for students and VT introduction. To many of them, it’s the first time they hear SAP brand name. It couldn’t be better to visit SAP on-site and feel the real SAP culture by themselves.
The events got strong support from NIC, Henry Li from NIC introduced SAP profile and history of SAP Labs China and Nanjing Innovation Center in the beginning, he also shared a demo on the real research project of smart transportation, which greatly attracted young students. Then Benny Sun from University Alliances China shared with SAP resources for student learning and practicing. Some great opportunities for students to join in global competition and learn from professionals. Followed by Joyce Jiang from HR VT to briefly introduced the history and concept of VT, also gave all the attendees a heads-up to the new VT recruitment campus talk that will happen in next spring. All the attendees were quite exciting to the whole content, many of them start to think about how to apply VT and other early talent programs from SAP in the near future.
