With the invitation from Venture Valley of Tongji University, SAP organized one Design Thinking workshop for 30+ students from Tongji University and High School Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University to celebrate the opening of Venture Valley. With the support from Software School of Tongji University, Josie invited 3 DT coaches, Kevin Zhao, Lucia Chen and Danny Yang from Co-Innovation team to conduct the DT workshop for the students from different Entrepreneur Society. The challenge was time management proposed by Venture Valley since it was quite related to the students in their daily life at campus, they hoped we could introduced the basic process and methods of Design Thinking to the participants who really interested in innovation and entrepreneurship, and understand how to solve the problems in real projects using DT methodology.
To most of the participants, this was their first time to hear about Design Thinking, with the coaches from SAP, they started their research and design work from different angles for different end users. During the workshop, Prof. Pei Gang, the President of Tongji and Prof. Yang Xianjin, the Party Secretary joined in the students to know more about Design Thinking workshop, and encouraged all the students keep trying and innovating with scientific methods. Again, thanks to the support from the 3 coaches.
