Power markets are significantly changing due to increasing amounts of renewable energy. Power producers need to integrate green energy assets such as wind power into the total portfolio, and as consequence have to deal with more output variability and price volatility. In response to this, the operators need to increase operational flexibility. One way to achieve this is to integrate technical and commercial plant operations.
