Hello - As the content owner of the Leveraging Assets Track for this year's SAP for Utilities event,  I'm very excited to share with you the agenda along with the how and why we chose this slate of speakers.

The "Leverage Assets" track is sure to be a highlight of this year's SAP for Utilities event .  For starters how could anyone argue with the location - we are back in Huntington Beach, California this year in September for an event that has shaped up to be the best so far!

This company lineup covers the country and spans across the water, gas and electric utility enterprises.  We've selected topics that are top of mind for the asset centric organizations in generation, transmission / distribution and cross enterprise challenges.

To kickoff the event - you will hear from Len Harms and myself about the latest and upcoming SAP and partner solutions to help your organization realize "Operational Excellence in the New Data Driven World".  We will also explain with real case stories how leading companies have come to realize benefits. Read more.

We will be followed by Jeff Smith from Fairfax Water explaining "SAP EAM Master Data - Compliance is the Key": In his experience at Fairfax Water data is what fuels the process and bad data is an essential issue to address once and for all going forward.

A Short Break follows to allow another quick peek at the beautiful beaches - then back to more presentations from leading experts.

After our break we will kick off the second half of the track with Paul Caffery of PG&E.  His session "Driving Safety, Integrity & Operational Excellence at PG&E" will explain how essential it is to keep an eye on what really matters.  Paul will cover considerations made when PG&E was setting out to establish a safe and correct model for their assets that incorporates the back office master data and expected processes involving spatial users.

To wrap the customer stories, we will hear from Jia Xu and Bill Padula.  Telling how they approached "Mobilizing the EAM Workforce at NRG" using SAP Work Manager solutions inside of their generation facilities that spread across the country.

The capstone of our track is laid down by a well know expert EAM practitioner, author and lecturer Terry Wireman.  His practical and insightful presentation "The Good The Bad and the ISO-55000" will cover topics that are relevant for current situations but also looking ahead towards the foreseeable future.  Taking a critical look at what has worked or not and how emerging standards can help you to realize ongoing success.

So please look deeper into the agenda for the Leveraging Assets track at this year's SAP for Utility Event, a EAM Centric track designed to cover several industries segments, various lines of business and a multitude of topics.

Registration is open and plenty of excellent hotel rooms await you.

We look forward to seeing you in the audience.
