With SAPUI5 release 1.28 the Visual Business GeoMap and Analytic Map controls are in an inheritance relation. Thus it is possible to use all visual object known from the GeoMap also with the Analytic Map. In the course of this unification the GeoMap got the Legend, known from the Analytic Map, which is now also equal for both controls.
Finally we introduced a new visual object: sap.ui.vbm.Container. It can be positioned at a geo-location and host arbitrary UI5 content, e.g. charts. Examples can be found in SAPUI5 Explored
