The new SCN is organized into more than 400 spaces, mostly topic or product based, which support small, self-contained communities. SCN spaces are typically focused around an SAP product , an industry, or some other topic related to SAP professionals. Topic spaces are social media worlds unto themselves. Each space contains a complete set of social networking tools including a discussion forum, a blogging area, and an area where you can publish and collaborate on documents.
Here are four strategies for finding interesting topic spaces in SCN.
Search for Topic Spaces Using Relevant Keywords
All SCN spaces have relevant keywords in their titles. If you are interested in ABAP spaces, for example, type ‘abap’ in the search field, select ‘Search the Community’ and click the search icon.
On the next screen, click the “Places” tab to view all the ABAP spaces:
Drill Down SCN Navigation to Find Topic Spaces
SCN navigation lets you drill-down hierarchically to specific spaces. Here is the path to the WebDynpro ABAP space:
Browse SCN Topic Spaces
You can browse all SCN spaces using the Browse menu:
