SIS Historical Data

Dear All,

Here i am trying to explain how to activate the historical data. than next question is what is this historical data and why we active .

I hope you have a knowledge on SIS process , if you don`t my advise is first try to know about SIS and SIS configuration process. If i configure SIS today it able to fetch the data in to the SIS now on wads.

Ex:- I just configure SIS process in my system and create only one sales order(value 10.05) , Now the SIS report ( Tcode MCTA) is like this.

But as per the client requirement , they would also be interested in seeing the past data before SIS configured in to the system .then we will follow the bellow process.

step1:

Go to  t code SE38 and run the program

                        i) RMCVNEUA - for sales orders( or you can directly run the Tcode OLI7)

ii) RMCVNEUL - for delivery documents ( or you can directly run the Tcode OLI8)

iii) RMCVNEUF - for billing documents (or you can directly run the Tcode OLI9 )

Execute the program and enter you info structure ( same you used in SIS configuration), "&(" in save under version field and give the name for run.

By executing this all the historical data will get copied into Version "&("

Step 2:

Now we have to copy the data from version "&("  to version "000" than we will see the all historical data in the report.

Goto Tcode SE38 --> RMCSISCP (or you can directly run the Tcode OLIX) and Execute.

Enter info structure( same one used in SIS configuration) and click on " copy version" push button and Execute.

Enter Info structure, source version"&( " in data source tab and enter target info structure( in my case i used same info structure) , Target version "000" and execute the record.
