SPRO IT Solutions, a Brazilian company, is a SAP certified Services and VAR partner, with established expertise in the Agribusiness Industry. In collaboration with the SAP Co-Innovation Lab Brasil (COIL), SPRO developed the CRM Visita Agronômica® mobile application which strengths the relationship between the agribusiness companies and farmers. It is developed on the SAP Mobile Platform and features various functionalities related to planning, cropping, monitoring and overall management.
SPRO CRM Visita Agronômica® integrates with SAP ECC and SAP ACM (Agricultural Contract Management), supporting the agricultural consultant activities in the field while facing and interacting with his/her customer. The main features are:
- Management of agenda and visits (check-in and check-out; opening and closing of travels)
- Crop planning
- Sales automation of agricultural inputs (with embedded pricing engine as customized in the SAP ECC backend)
- Configurable check-lists for visits (technical sales; maintenance; relationship and planning)
- Reports on sales, consumption and crop progress
All scenarios and functionalities built into the SPRO CRM Visita Agronômica® support both online and offline usage. The solution runs on Android and is implemented via SAP Mobile Platform.
ITeam Track and Trace Goods mobile app

After successfully engaging with COIL Brasil during the COIL Mobility Experience Light 2012, ITeam became a COIL Project Member for continued development in the SAP Mobile Platform. ITeam develop a mobile application for tracking and tracing high valued goods from the production, to warehouse and delivery.
The application was developed using the hybrid approach, running therefore in different mobile systems as Android, iOS and BlackBerry. It integrates with SAP ECC and works online using barcode reader features for product identification.
SIGGA SM2 SUP 2.2 and SUP 2.3 Platform Upgrade

SIGGA SM2 is updated towards the latest SAP product releases, through working in conjunction with the Co-Innovation Lab. Their product SIGGA SM2 now additionally supports the SUP 2.2 and SUP 2.3 releases. To achieve this update, SIGGA installed their product SM2 in a landscape containing the SUP 2.2 and SUP 2.3 releases, and performed all the necessary tests, validations and development adaptions. COIL Mobility Experience Program 2013: Location-based Sales Management

Polystor was invited to participate in the COIL Mobility Experience Program 2013 – a COIL initiative executed to accelerate and expand the use of SAP mobile technologies in China. Partners received a 5-day enablement, remote access to an exclusive SAP landscape with necessary components and ongoing coaching during the three months of prototype development. Polystor built a location based solution (LBS) for the insurance segment during the initiative. It offers a list view and a map view of subsidiaries and customers, from the perspective of an employee, to view and update customer data, search nearby subsidiaries for current geographic location, find the most convenient way for visiting a customer or a subsidiary. The application runs on Android tablets and is based on SUP integrating with an existing backend system for enterprise data management; it works both online and offline and it was developed as a native mobile app. The solution also provides functionality for tracking historical data of customer vists. COIL Mobility Experience Light 2012

In alignment to the continuous interest of Brazilian companies on SAP's mobile strategy and platform (SMP – SAP Mobile Platform), COIL Brasil with the support from Mobility Team launched an initiative called "COIL Mobility Experience Light 2012". The focus was targeted to technologically extend the knowledge and use of SMP among the local ecosystem. More than 20 companies joined the announcement via webcast on late November 2012, where the framework was presented and the interested companies were called to submit a prototype scenario for selection. Scenarios were selected from four companies:
The selected companies received enablement and ongoing remote access to an exclusive COIL landscape for building the prototype. During the prototyping phase partners had low touch support via a dedicated framework for collaboration and continuos individual follow-ups.
For all four partners this was the first engagement with COIL, and we were most pleased to collaborate with all of them and contribute to their development and the penetration of the SMP technology within the local Ecosystem. COIL looks forward for further collaboration with these companies.
Gestão 360° (Management 360°) v2.00

ilegra has successfully participated at the COIL Mobility Experience Advanced 2012 and presented their Management 360° (“Gestão 360°” in Portuguese) application during the Co-Innovation Day 2012. Since then they have further engaged with COIL to create a new version of the application, which includes new features like simulation of scenarios and decision taking support.
The solution goes from an analytical view of company’s KPIs to a transactional view of related documents and items. The application contains analytical KPIs and relevant transactional data for Sales, Inventory, Production, Finance and Accounting. The KPIs can be customized and/ or adjusted to better reflect the company needs. The version 2.00 of the application now runs on Android and iOS tablets and is based on SUP integrating with SAP ECC; it works online and offline and it was developed using the native development approach. Ilegra also presented the Gestão 360° app during the SAP Forum Brazil 2013 at the Mobile Demo Ground.
Managing and enforcing security policies on SAP Mobile Platform with CA SiteMinder®

The widespread adoption of mobile devices poses significant challenges for organizations to ensure that their security policies are being implemented effectively and consistently across all access channels. This is because core security functions (such as user authentication and authorization) are essential to protect critical applications and data from misuse by the growing number of mobile users. SAP® Co-Innovation Lab (COIL) has just published a white paper which provides an overview of a project at COIL where we integrated CA SiteMinder® with SAP Mobile Platform to provide a common, centralized solution to manage and enforce security policies across both laptops and mobile devices from either inside or outside the network.
Management in the franchising retail segment via Franch mobile v2.00

Following its participation in the initiative COIL Mobility Experience Advanced 2012, Formers has developed the second version of the mobile application “Franch mobile”, for the franchising retail segment. The application offers management view and control over the franchising chain, from the prospect of a new franchisee/store, to the registration of a franchisee (through approval workflows), graphical reports of revenue by store and customizable checklists for store visits/controlling. The application works online and offline and it was developed using the native development approach. The solution also contains a cockpit for back-office activities as creating checklists, creating and associating visits to franchisees and integrating approval workflows. In this new release, “Franch mobile” presents new functionalities as: alerts, attachments handling and new workflows.
ITST e-Commerce Integration mobile app - ICC Certification

Following its participation in the initiative COIL Mobility Experience Advanced 2012, ITST has in October 2012 successfully certified their mobile application “ITST e-Commerce Integration”, which is a mobile extension to their full back office e-commerce integration suite. The mobile app was built to work in online/offline scenarios. COIL has supported by providing a virtualized landscape and technical knowledge transfer during the development process of the application. BnE, a COIL partner in Korea, has leveraged Sybase Unwired Platform to develop a mobile Timetable application for students schedule. This is a common scenario of university using campus management portal on the web browser before.

Padma Wave 2: Optimized Collection Management for the field force through provisioning of customer credit data
"Collections-to-Bank" is often not a smooth ride. Lack of adequate real-time information to your field collection agents results in an unpredictable and delayed cash flow from your last mile customers. The MYCMobile solution optimizes and improves the collection cycle in accounts receivable management. The application provides the collection agents online access to the SAP system on the field, for updating and reporting through their mobile devices. MYCMobile solution empowers your field collection agents by providing information on the fly with just a mobile phone. Padma Wave 2: Merchandiser Procurement Optimizer
Merchandiser Procurement Optimizer (mPronto) is a mobile app for buyers in a Retail organization to optimize their merchandise purchase over a buying trip. This app has been developed as a part of the Padma program by Cognizant, a global SAP services partner, which empowers retailers to have an access to the sales, inventory & purchase data anytime anywhere and perform a detailed analysis on-the-move, thus enables effective & quick decision making on field. Key benefits are: A structured assortment analysis on the go, item wise analysis on the go to maximize gross margin and profitability, increase in inventory turns and reduction in inventory holding cost, enables Real-time creation/update of Vendor, Article and Purchase Order in backend (IS Retail) using mobile platform which is brief & easy to use on the move.
Padma Wave 2: Mobile Production Order Confirmation
AkaaRa Consulting, a strong player in the area of mobility, joined the Padma program to build an innovative Android mobile application for production order confirmation. Manufacturing Insight enables on-time delivery of manufacturing projects within budgeted cost by providing means for better management and efficient utilization of resources. Manufacturing Insight - Production Order Confirmation supports mobile scenarios for plant heads and plant supervisors to optimize the confirmation of operations at the plant hence offering a real time visibility on the buy vs. build decision from an organization standpoint. The solution provides seamless mechanism to manage scrap and rework quantities for a production order and offers an out of the box integration with SAP ERP. SAP NetWeaver Gateway Adoption with strategic partners
SAP NetWeaver Gateway is a technology that provides a simple way to connect devices, environments and platforms to SAP software based on market standards. The framework offers connectivity to SAP applications using any programming language or model without the need for SAP knowledge by leveraging REST services and OData/ATOM protocols. The SAP gateway team worked at COIL with an array of strategic partners to build oData SDK for key user communities including a SDK for Adobe Flash and a SDK for PHP with Zend, and to enable third party gateways such as Apigee, Layer 7 technologies, and Snaplogic with NetWeaver Gateway solutions.
Arteria teamed up with SAP and Sybase in the Padma program to build mDepot (Mobile Depot), an application that is intended for organizations that have implemented SAP ERP to support their warehouses, distribution centers and the CFA (Clearing & Forwarding Agents) by mobilizing their field goods movement. mDepot is a hand-held application that empowers the depots to record the good movement like Goods Receipts, Outbound Deliveries and Goods Issue at their remote work locations. The application helps organization get near real-time updates on inventory levels at its warehouses thereby leading to better planning & improved customer demand fulfillment. Mobile Inspection (mInspection), built by partner Arteria in the Padma program, is intended to help organizations that have implemented SAP ERP create a competitive advantage by mobilizing the inspection process; thereby increasing productivity and reducing lead time in delivering raw material to the production units. mInspection is a self-service application to plan inspection visits and post the usage decision for the inspection lots in the SAP ERP QM module. SIGGA migrates to Sybase Unwired Platform with SIGGA SM2 Solution
SIGGA SM2 leverages the plant maintenance functionality of the SAP ERP application, mobilizing workers in the field, and enabling them to perform all inspection and maintenance activities directly from their mobile devices, allowing the manipulation of information from/to SAP ERP. Driving forces were the accuracy of the data entries from the field workers, to improved communication between the planner team and the work force in the field, as well as to provide a more user-friendly interface. SIGGA SM2 can be used by mobile workers of SAP solutions in all industry segments.
