You are a technical developer working on SAP ABAP application on HANA and you need to user access into the HANA database creating technical objects like customized procedures or views. From SAP NetWeaver 7.40 Support Package 2 onwards, you are now able to synchronize the HANA user ID creation through the ABAP transaction code SU01.
In the following, i will describe the steps to do it:
With NW 7.40 support package 2, unfortunately you are still unable to assign HANA authorization role via the SU01. Hopefully in the near future, it will be delivered in standard allowing a smooth synchronization of userid between ABAP and HANA database including the authorization.
