In the first aticle, we have covered, how we can configure three clients within same system for a ChaRM Proof Of Concept on a single system managed landscape covering TMS settings.

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-44166

This article covers next steps to create a Change Request Management (ChaRM) Project.

Step 1: Create a project in solar_project_admin by click create button

Step 2: Provide details and type of Project.

Step 3: Provide Description or Title for your ChaRM project, maintain language, status etc

Step 4: Click System Landscape Tab and add the logical component.

Please Note: I am assuming reader's are aware of creating logical component in SMSY or already created during MANAGED SYSTEM wizard in solman_setup

Step 5: Click on Change Management tab under system landscape as shown.

:

Step 6: Click on Refresh button followed by Check button. Make sure there shouldn't be any errors. In case of warnings it is ok but better to have all green here.

Step 7 : Click on Activate Change Request Management checkbox and activate it. Further click on Create Task list button to create a Maintenance cycle/Task List for the project. Once system creates the MC it will be shown as below

Step 8: Unlock all the Task/Sub task in the Task list by navigating to it using Show Task List option.

Step 9: Now change the phase of Maintenance Cycle to In Development with Release as shown below by entering it in EDIT mode.

Thus, now we have activated and configured standard ChaRM for single system PoC landscape.

Please Note: I have not mentioned about the wizard which is available in Solman_setup for ChaRM assuming readers are aware of its usage etc.
