Wage Type tool for Wage Type Configuration

Often we come across requirement to create or modify the Wage Type or to change the existing wage type processing.

This document explains how to create a new Wage Type through a Wage Type Tool and how an existing Wage Type will be processed at one go.

This wage type tool is applicable for all countries wage types creation.

Tcode: hrwtt00main

Prerequisite

Ensure your User settings are set for the respective country grouping eg: ‘07’ or ‘10’ or '40' before proceeding with the configuration by using the transaction 'SU2'.

Set parameters ‘MOL’ and ‘UGR’ with the respective country grouping for which the new wage type needs to be created.

SAP Easy Access --> Enter tcode hrwtt00main

Wage Type Configuration tool opens.

Enter Wag Type and effective date -->Press Enter.

It displays the selected wage type’s description and its characteristics.

We can also be able to navigate to the current settings of the wage type by selecting respective tab as shown below.

By clicking on any of the wage type property, it displays the respective link it opens a new window and shows the wage type property.

You should be able to see at each step all the necessary configuration and the available inputs maintained for the wage type.

In addition to the wage type configuration, other wage type tools can also be accessed from this tool as shown below.

You should be able to see at the bottom left a drop down box which helps in identifying similar tools related Wage Type.

By selecting PC00_M99_DKON and click on ‘Go’ it navigates to the below tool.

Enter the country grouping and select wage type and press ‘Execute’.

Wage Type mapping with respective symbolic account and G/L account will be displayed.

Creation of Wage Type

Enter the New Wage Type and effective date and click on ‘Create Wage Type’ button.

A new window opens. Enter the necessary details and options available and press ‘Create’ button.

It leads to OH11 (Wage Type copier) to copy new wage type from model wage type.

Enter model wage type and the required wage type and click on ‘copy’

New Wage Type  is ready and it navigates back to the wage type tool wizard.

This tool helps in creation of new wage type and the existing wage type configuration setup.

Note: This tool is not helpful in delimiting the table entries related to respective wage type. Please follow IMG path and the respective nodes.
