SAP TRM: Money Markets - 54A - Cash Flow Instrument for Non Fund Based borrowing solution / Letter of credit (LC) / Bank Guarantee (BG)

Requirement:

Non Fund based borrowings transaction to be covered in SAP treasury and Risk Management Module.

Solution:

The Indian Domestic Clients has a requirement of covering Non-Fund based loans in SAP Treasury & Risk Management (TRM). The requirement can be covered via product type 54A - Cash Flow Instruments.

The consultant can follow following points:

Product Type: Create a copy Z Product Type from 54A in Money Markets Module. Say ZNF as product type.

Transaction Type: The transaction code of 100 for investment or 200 for borrowing can be assigned to product type. Now ZNF will be assigned to Flow type 100 and 200.

Flow Types: Create new flow types and ensure the selection box for post to accounting is not selected. (The flow should not post to accounting). Uncheck the posting to accounting button in the flow type and assign it to the Z product type.

Update type: Create and attach the update types corresponding to the flow types and complete the assignment.

The next steps will be testing the account determination. Here the GL Accounts will not get updated with Accounting entry and the non fund based requirement will be achieved

Notes and Reports

1. The additional information for the LC/BG/ECB can be capture via screen exit - screen enhancement in enhancement spot at FTR_CREATE / FTR_EDIT transaction.

2. Custom reports can be created for the transaction using TPM13 standard reports
