Tahir Hussain “Bob” Babar from the SAP HANA Academy details how to connect to MySQL as a data source for SAP Lumira.

First, in his MySQL workbench, Bob quickly examines the film database, Sakila, he will be connecting to. Bob highly encourages that access rights be given to a specific user in the MySQL database so the user can load the data into SAP Lumira. Next, Bob shows how to install the JDBC drivers using the SAP Lumira Preferences by simply selecting the appropriate java file.

After selecting Query with SQL as a data set type, Bob enters the credentials and advance parameters for connecting to the Sakila database. Bob chooses the data table that he wants to work with and selects the columns of table he wants to load before finally importing his data into SAP Lumira.

Finally, Bob shows how to save MySQL data in the SAP Lumira cloud.

Bob's quick tutorial video demonstrates how to simply connect to MySQL to source data for SAP Lumira.
