Overview

STMS
is useful to define the route for different type of request in SAP Landscape

Log in to Development server with SAP* (000)

Trigger:

Procedural Steps

1.1.    Access
transaction by:

1.2.      On screen

Call the
Transaction STMS

Enter the
Follows:

Description:
System SID

Transport
domain: DOMAIN_SID < DEV SID>

Description:
Transport domain SID (if you want to
assign this system as domain controller)

Click on [SAVE]

Domain
controller configured….

Log in to
Production Server with sap* or user with full authorization (000)

Call the
transaction STMS

Enter the
following details:

Description: Production

Click on [Other Configuration]

Enter the Domain Controller

Target Host: SAPDEV (HOSTNAME OF DEV)
(domain controller system name)

System no: 00

Click on [SAVE]

Details have been
entered

Go to Development Server

Click on [System Overview]

Select Production system and click on
[Approve]

Click on Yes

Click on [Continue]

Go to SAP System -> Update Configuration

Click on Yes

Details have
been saved…

Go to the
Production server and do the same [Update
Configuration]

Click on [Continue]

Details have
been entered

Go to the Development Server and click on [Transport Routes]

Click on [Display <-> Change (F5)]

Drag and Drop these two servers here

Go to Configuration -> Standard Configuration
-> Development and Production System

Enter:

Development
System: SRD

  Production
system: SRP

Click on [Continue]

Here are the
transport routes for two system landscape…

Go to Configuration -> Distribute and Activate

If you want to add repate the same steps of PRD for QAS.

Goto Dev system and create  a transport request using T-Code
SE09,SE10,SE01

Release the sub-request  and the original request by clicking on
“Truck” symbol

Goto Prod System and enter the T-Code  “/nstms_import”,then refresh the screen.This
will give you the import requests.
