Role Search Screen Enhancement – GRC 10

Role Search screen provided as default by SAP in GRC 10.

 




We have a requirement where user should be able to see additional search criterion along with the default things provided by SAP.

 

Requirement is to show Business Process, Sub process, Company and Role Description as part of role search screen as most of our roles are clearly classified according to business process and sub process and client wants to enable them to the users during role search for making role selection process easier for the end users.

 

I have searched market place for OSS notes on this topic and found below SAP notes which clearly explains how to implement this BADI.

BADI Implementation in GRC

 

You should have access to Developer Key to implement the BADI


 

Execute Tcode SE18. Enter the BADI name as shown below and click on “CREATE” button

 



Enter enhancement spot details as shown below and click on OK button.



Once you enter the above details, you will get below screen.



Click on the “Implementing Class” and you can see the method name as shown below



Double click on the method name and it opens up method definition screen. Here you can maintain the code for additional attributes as per your requirement.

 



Once you have maintained the code as mentioned above. Save and activate the BADI.
