Training and Event Management module


With Training and Event Management module you can plan and manage any kind of business event: Training courses, Conferences, Lectures etc. With Training and Event Management you can manage both internal and external events and make bookings, pre bookings and cancellations.

In the following show the steps of Training and event management


As shown in the above we have 4 mail process, in the first step we define all master data in Training and Event Management such as Cost Item, Time Schedule, Location, Building Address, Training Provider, Participant, Course Group, Course Type, Resources




Define cost Items:

Use OOKB T-Code:





Define Time Schedule:

Define Billing Address:

Create Course Group:

Use PVL0 T-Code:


A course group can contain subordinate course groups, we can create a hierarchical structure of course groups ( create relation between two or more course group).


Course Group Info:

Indicator you can use to specify whether a business event group is displayed in the Employee Self-Service (ESS) application Training Center

Create course type:

Use PVD0 T-Code:

In this step, you create course types. A course type is the grouping of courses that have the same objective, content, and form.


In the LSO, we have the following delivery method:


In the LSO we have The delivery method is defined by:

  • Whether the course is time-dependent
  • Whether the course is location-dependent
  • Whether the course is classified as instruction, test or curriculum
  • Whether the course content is required in electronic form from a repository


Main schedule model:

You can define schedule accordance with the organization requirements in 3 model:


The system calculates the duration of the business event based on your specifications and displays this under duration in days and duration in hours.




When all master data are defined and created relationship between them we can get the Master Data Catalog. For view the master Data catalog you can use T-Code LSO_PVCT
