How SAP ABAP Consultant can become SAP Mobility Consultant

Hello ABAP consultant,

I would like to share about how an ABAP consultant can become a SAP Mobility consultant.

There are different ways or technologies to choose in SAP mobility for ABAP consultants.

Option 1 : NW ODATA Gateway consultant:

Learn about NW ODATA gateway, how to create a ODATA which can read and post the data from and into SAP system. ODATA is a restful service which can expose the access to SAP system through gateway server.

Pre-requisite : Strong in ABAP OO and basic knowledge about HTML.

Option 2 : SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) consultant:

Learn how to configure the SMP server, about creating service endpoints, user registration and device logs.

Pre-requisite : Basic knowledge about ODATA and device management.

Option 3 : Neptune ( SAPUI5 ) using ABAP.

Create SAPUI5 application using ABAP, you an develop SAP Mobile app which are hybrid and runs on any device using ABAP code.

Pre-requisite : HTML5 and strong ABAP knowledge.

Option 4 : SAP FIORI Standard app configurations.

Customising and deploying of standard SAP Fiori app delivered by SAP.

Pre-requisite : ODATA and basic knowledge about HTML.
