For sure templates help with this scenario in Design Studio 1.5

Thanks to content in SAP's Learning Hub (training.sap.com),  I could follow how to set this up.

First, Design Studio 1.5 in the CMC offers Bookmark Administration

Logon to the CMC, select Applications, Design Studio Runtime

The Learning Hub tutorial showed how to create folders under bookmark administration

Then you move the bookmarks to this folder in the CMC

Then launch Design Studio as the "administrator" and select the Generic Analysis Template

This is the role of "producer"

Save this template on the BI Platform - the tutorial suggests a folder on the BI Platform.  The administrator/power user will use this to connect to the data source, create cross tabs, and save them as "smart objects" in the folder.

Next, logon as consumer

The consumer selects the Online Composition Template

The consumer drags over the  charts, cross tabs, and more visualizations that were created as "smart objects" by administrator/power user using the Generic template from above.

Add a title to the views and save.

Then you have a composition "tile" as shown above

The consumer can share the composition using the bookmark

Here is how it looks opened:

Notice I didn't do any scripting to do this; it was all in the templates that come with 1.5
