To use the analytical features properly in SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA, such as

-Semantics Layer(the predefined SAP HANA models of B1H for analytics, including Financial, Logistics, Stock etc),

-Enterprise Search

-the role-based Fiori Cockpit

-the predefined KPI and Pervasive Dashboard

-Interactive Analytics

-Excel Report Designer

You need to initialise the SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA company databases for analytics features with the Administration Console of SAP Business One analytics powered by SAP HANA. Please refer to section 7.3 about Initialising and Maintaining Databases for Analytical Features in Administrator's Guide for SAP Business One 9.3, version for SAP HANA

The initialisation will deploy the predefined SAP HANA models for Semantics Layers, which can be used to analyse the Financial and Business data in your SAP Business One company with KPI, Pervasive Dashboard, Interactive Analytics, Crystal Report and SAP Lumira.

To initialise SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA company DB for analytical features, please follow the steps below:


  • Step 1: Open Administration Console in browser(Google Chrown preferred) with URL https://<Your_HANA_ServerAddress>:40000/Enablement  (B1H 9.0 PL05 or higher by default)

  • Step 2: Log on with B1SiteUser and password

  • Step 3: Select the Companies in the left pane

  • Step 4: Select the company to be initialised, then click Initialise. Repeat this step for any other company DB to use analytical features.
