Hi,

I come across this interesting transaction that provides helpful information on tables and allow us to play a little with them without being abapers.

Most important features are:

Check if a table has activated modification log

and if needed we can actívate it. For example, a packing instruction table

Column Log shows no log active. If we select the line ítem and click on log indicator activation icon system will créate an transport order and modification log will be activated.

Next changes on table will be saved in log and will be available witj tcode AUT10.

Check if a table is maintained in customizing

For example, table NAST

In case table is maintained in custo, for example table T100 we can click on column Maintenance Object to navigate to data dictionnary

Check if a table is client dependent

Dependence is shown in column Cnt Dep

Finally, check if table can be maintained with tcode SE16

Info is displayed in column Tab Man. Selecting the line ítem we can navigate to data dictionnary and from there to data browser to maintain data.

Of course we can make a multi criteria selection ....with multiple tables.

This document has been written to share knowledge among sales and distribution community. Dear moderators do not move it to other forums.

Regards,

JM
