SAP HANA One can be used to perform the following operations:
SAP HANA database monitoring
Instance CPU and memory monitoring
Starting and stopping a SAP HANA database
SAP HANA database backup and recovery
Changing system configurations
Managing SAP HANA database users
Setting and consuming system alerts
Communicating with the SAP HANA One support team via private messages
Provisioning new SAP HANA One instances
Additionally, Addons built in to SAP HANA One can be used for:
Upgrading SAP HANA database

SAP HANA One has two components, the SAP HANA One Portal for managing multiple SAP HANA instances and the SAP HANA One Console for SAP HANA instance administration.
The SAP HANA One Portal is a web-based console that is used to perform common administration tasks on a SAP HANA One instance. It can be used to ‘Manage’ or ‘Unmange’ SAP HANA One instances, and to provision new SAP HANA One instances.
Table of Contents
Users can choose to open a console for different SAP HANA One instances from the ‘Portal’ list page by clicking on their cards.
Using SAP HANA One Console, you can start and stop an SAP HANA database, perform backups and recovery, download the latest SAP HANA studio and clients, tutorials and how to guides, and to upgrade and manage ‘Addons’.
The Status tab shows you information on CPU usage, memory usage, running SAP HANA database processes and disk usage.
The Administration tab shows you the SAP HANA database version and license information, as well as information about the AWS instance. Additionally, this tab allows SAP HANA database users’ passwords to be reset, and AWS credentials to be updated.
The Backup and Recovery tab allows you to take backups of the SAP HANA database and perform recovery operations from existing backups.
The Addons tab provides you with an overview of available software upgrades, tools, samplers that you can download and installed on the SAP HANA One instance.
The Downloads tab lets you choose which version of the SAP HANA studio and client libraries as well as links to SAP HANA One tutorials, guides and community support pages.
