Gartner published its Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Magic Quadrants (MQ)

On January 21, Gartner published its Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Magic Quadrants (MQ), a consolidated view and evaluation of Warehouse Management system software market. SAP maintained its “Leaders” quadrant position compared to last year´s WMS MQ.

SUMMERY

Gartner evaluated 12 vendors´ Warehouse Management Systems´ capabilities in its new Magic Quadrant with SAP positioned as a “Leader.” Beyond product feature functionality, Gartner focuses on additional considerations, such as Supply Chain Execution (SCE) convergence, deployment model, global go-to-market, user experience, vertical coverage, and zero-modification implementation.

Compared to 2014, most vendors maintained status quo on quadrant positioning, with the exception of Reply moving from “Niche Players” to “Challengers” and Made4net added to the MQ while Consafe Logistics, Ehrhardt + Partner (E+P), International Business Systems (IBS) and eBizNET Solutions were the noticeable vendors that did not meet Gartner´s inclusion criteria for this year´s WMS Magic Quadrant.
