If the “Enable Receiving Bin Locations” option is activated, then periodically it will be relevant to transfer received items into main warehouse storage.

This can be quickly done by running the “Bin Location Content List” and filtering the relevant receiving bin locations (and possibly items) whose contents require transferring. When selecting the items in the list to be transferred to the main warehouse storage, choose the “Inventory Transfer” button and the “Clear Inventory” option as below.

This will open up the Inventory Transfer window automatically populated with the selected lines and quantities – also automatically populated with the receiving bin locations set as the “From Bin Locations” – and the “To Bin Locations” field will be automatically populated according to the “Auto Alloc. on Receipt” option setting in the Warehouse screen (see above).

These items can then be simply transferred and the Inventory Transfer processed.
