SAP Integration Scenario
BC-BAS-PV is the postal validation interface in BC-BAS, formerly called Central Address Management. It ensures that postal data is correct while the BC-BAS-DES interface ensures data quality. Both interfaces can be used by third-party vendors, international subsidiaries, business units, and customers.
To integrate with SAP, third-party software vendors must program user exits in ABAP. This requires the ABAP Service Package for certification. For more information, please refer to ABAP add-ons certification.

SAP NetWeaver Application Server 6.40
There are no changes to BC-BAS-PV in this release.
SAP NetWeaver Application Server 6.20
BC-BAS-PV will support additional features in this release in combination with SAP CRM 4.0. These new features will support the CRM user-centric UI. When feature specifications are complete, this page will be updated with more information. Recertification will only be required for implementations that use the CRM UI.
Certifications for SAP R/3 4.6 remain valid for software based on SAP Web Application Server 6.20 (or SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7) and for SAP CRM 4.0 as long as the software uses the SAP GUI.
SAP NetWeaver Application Server 6.10
There are no changes to BC-BAS-PV in this release.
SAP R/3 4.6
BC-BAS-PV was introduced as a certifiable interface in this release. For more information, see the section on postal validation in the following documentation:
Test System Recommendation from ICC
For development you need your own SAP system and an ABAP Development License.
SAP RAC Service:The quickest way to gain access to an SAP system suitable for integration testing is via the
SAP Remote Access and Connectivity Service (SAP RAC), which provides access to shared and exclusive-use hosted test systems.

Price List
The price for the certification is 15,000 EUR including a license for the AAK tool. In subsequent years an annual fee of 10,000 EUR is due. This fee for support, maintenance etc. can be applied towards re-certification or any other ICC service.
