SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) is based on the SAP NetWeaver technology and automates global trade processes in imports and exports. It helps comply with legal regulations and provides you with the tools to respond to governments modernizing their systems and to customs authorities communicating electronically with businesses. Three separate recorded demonstrations have been created which also include step-by-step scripts.
Customs Declaration Document
This scenario will show how SAP Global Trade Services can be used to classify a material with its HTS code and print a Shipper’s Export Declaration (SED) to send to the Customs office.
Recorded Demonstration - Narrated recording of two characters: Linda Johnson (an SD end user) and John Taylor (the Compliance Officer). Linda will create a sales order and then its delivery and billing invoice. John Taylor will process the Export Declaration document and classify the material in GTS.
Application Script - Use this step-by-step procedure in your SAP Discovery System to guide you through the Custom Declaration Documents demo.
From this demonstration, learn how SAP Global Trade Services can perform licensing checks automatically on sales orders and block a sales order due to unavailable licenses in the GTS system.

Sanctioned Party List Screening

SPL helps companies comply with the U.S. legal regulation to not conduct business transactions with a denied party. Different agencies of the government release several types of Denied Party Lists.
