The use of handhelds has become an essential part of store operations. The IS-PDC scenario integrates external handheld applications into the core processes of SAP Retail and SAP Retail Store.
The R/3 interface was designed using RFCs and IDocs. Optionally, SAP Business Connector can be used together with the application package SAP_LO_SRS to communicate via XML files.
Either alternative can be certified.
The following store processes are supported: goods receipt, goods movement, physical inventory, and purchasing.
