As of SAP NetWeaver 2004 SAP fully supports sending Faxes and Paging/SMS Messages via SMTP. This new interface is created in parallel to the previous RFC based SAPconnect interfaces "BC-CON" and „BC-PAG", The SMTP is the strategic method.
This integration scenario is also available with SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA.

Test system recommendation from ICC
SAP RAC Service:The quickest way to gain access to an SAP system suitable for integration testing is via the SAP Remote Access and Connectivity Service (SAP RAC), which provides access to shared and exclusive-use hosted test systems.
