There's an interesting discussion in the suggestions and comments forum relating to this - have a look at:

well , I can understand that but the thing is you should do before someone answer that question , its not fair to take points away . ![]()
Hi
Do we have the possibility to post question in french language?
Thanks
Yahsaar
@BrightSide - if your motivation is accumulating points, don't answer basic questions or ones that are easily searchable.
@ally2304 - English is the language of most of the forums. There are foreign language forums, but I don't recall any strictly for French. You might try one of the web translation tools. Forum members will try to guide you around the language issues.

I agree with u. but it is nearlly spoon feeding...
Sir, I found a error in displaying the no: of replies to any thread (in this case, no: of replies to my thread.. in the Forum:
"Form Printing" .
Even though I got 2 or mroe replies, the display in the Threads list is not updated, and showing "0" replies.
Please do not Reply me, but take action on the Thread-list-displaying Replies issue
Thanks.

This is a long standing problem in the forum. If you want to make a suggestion to improve the forums, this is not the place to do it. Try posting a thread in the suggestions and comments forum.

Hello Jan,
When ever i post a query in ABAP, General, some moderator lock my thread......
Why this is happening????
The reason is usually stated by the moderator in the locked thread.
I looked at your last few, these were locked because you simply dumped questions/FAQs without any signs of own research effort invested, so it looks like you are unloading your work here.

Congratulations Suhas.
At some times , the moderators behave in a rude manner . Remember one thing , this is a common place where there are various people from null to geek exists.
There would have been a time where moderators like thomas wud have been struggling to execute even a hello world program .
So please it would be good if you treat the guys who are in the beginning stage in a good way .They may ask some questions unknowingly . It is not that it s ur duty is over if u move the thread to points free forum or lock it... Nobody is here for points , but for knowledge. Tell them their mistake and give them an oppertunity to learn .
karthikeyan.chandrasekaran - you seem to misunderstand the nature of the SDN forums. they are not meant to be training forums and are not a good place to learn ABAP. There are forums that don't mind basic questions, so it would probably be better for you to seek them out and post there instead.
