Database Connector Error

Just upgraded to SAP CR 2011 from CR 8.5.

All reports were working fine at the time of the upgrade.

After upgrade most reports are OK.

There are a couple of databases that when I try to run the reports they get a database connector error (bunch of little square boxes and the ascii character then ?)  with OK button at the bottom. Clicking on the OK button just takes you back to the report with no data. If you try making a new connection to the database to recreate the report the same Database Connector Error occurs.

Other databases from this program are working fine from reports and from making a new connection.

Help.

    Hello,

As of CR 9 we completely rewrote the database drivers. So you should do a set location for each report and use any updated Clients etc.

As for the error we need to know what DB you are using and how, ODBC, OLE DB or Native CR Driver.

    Thanks

    Don

Sorry for the delay, I have tried ODBC, Database files, and Xbase. ODBC does not even recognize the data base. the Database files recognizes the file but upon selection gets a no data connector specified, the Xbase recognizes the files but upon selection comes back with data connector error.  I have tried setting up a new report with the database but same oh same oh. Other databases selected from Xbase are working just fine. I don't know where or how to setup a data connector. Another question is about speed of the program, under CR8.5 some of my reports only took 4-5 minutes to run. But under CR2011 Those same reports are taking around 15-20 minutes, is this normal?
