    Dear Balaji,

Have you changed the J2EE_ADMIN password to what has been provided in SAPehpi?

The following error points to this issue:

" JSPM could not log in to the Java server with user J2EE_ADMIN. Probably the server is not running or the provided credentials are not correct."

Kindly try logging in to the Visual Admin using the same J2EE_ADMIN credentials as provided to SAPehpi and see whether it works or not.

If it works then try manullay setting the SDM mode to standalone as per the steps provided in the following SAP Note:

905856 - Failed SDM command execution

    Regards,

    Abhishek

      Hi Abhi,

I have checked the note and tried the same.

When i execute StopServer from command it is giving me following error

Could not shutdown server: The SDM Server is not running.(1)

Details: Could not establish connection to server 'localhost/50018': connect: Ad

dress is invalid on local machine, or port is not valid on remote machine

      Processing error. Return code: 104

So I disabled SDM in SAP MMC then Set into Standalone Mode and Rerun the EHP it still sayes same error.

      1. Disabled SDM in MMC ( as if i say shutdown it restarts automatically)

      2. Set into Standalone mode

      3. Retried the EHPI

No Luck, i am struck even i had checked a note 905856 which says to run Kill.sap but that command is stopping whole SAP system itself then SDM will not get connected.

      Thanks,

      Balaji.S

        Dear Balaji,

Seems some confusion here. Can you make a fresh restart of the complete java stack and then repeat the phase and also paste the error from the log?

        Regards,

        Abhishek

            Dear Balaji,

Regarding this is would repeat here my earlier recommendation.

            Please comment.

            Regards,

            Abhishek

                Hi All,

I was able to resolve the issue with help from SAP support,

It was the problem with SDM running under wrong ip address.

I changed the Bindpatch in config tool for the dispatcher to correct ip.

Config Tool>Dispatcher>P4>bindpatch this was having entry as 0.0.0.0 which should not be the case i changed to the local ip address then it worked fine and i was able to move further in EHPI installation.

Thank you very much for the support.
