EIC infoypes IT1291 and 1261

Hi All

What is t exact use of EIC infoypes IT1291 and 1261 because without maintain these infotypes EIC agents are able to create the activities. What could be the future impact of not maintaining these infotypes on Position and Org unit level.

They will be able to create an activity because it uses the default profile but at every customer I have implemented EIC there have been multiple profiles to meet the various business requirements.

  infotype 1261 is to assign EIC profile that your client specific how ever if user have access to EIC then sap standard profile will be used and they able to create activity.
